Christina Shuker, DNP
Christina Shuker, DNP, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for treating patients in pain. She obtained her Master of Nursing Degree from Misericordia University in 2011. Looking to further her education and training, she went on to complete her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Misericordia University in 2015. Christina has practiced in the medical field for 34 years with a dedicated history in inpatient, outpatient, and operating room care.
During that time, she gained extensive firsthand experience in the fields of pain management, urogynecology, integrative medicine, oncology, and critical care. Christina believes in getting to the root of the problem by partnering with her patients to develop an optimal and fully comprehensive approach to their wellness. She believes in the value of integrating the best of traditional medicine with alternative and complementary medicine, creating a holistic approach. She is driven by the belief that “to make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful, or perfect. You just have to care”. Christina is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. She and her husband Wayne moved to Chandler, Arizona in 2018. She is the proud mother of a son, Wayne Jr, who is a Broadway actor, singer and vocal coach. She enjoys sports, hiking, reading traveling and crafting.
