A Message to Our Patients Pain Experts of Arizona

As always, we are committed to the health and well-being of our community and all our decisions rely upon that singular belief.

To protect our patients, staff and community, we are offering our patients the option of telemedicine visits with your physician.

Our office is open to accommodate our patients who need an in-person visit or are scheduled for a procedure. We have implemented the following measures in order to keep you and your family members safe and healthy:

  • Employee Screening: Employees are screened daily and are required to stay home if they show any signs or symptoms of illness.
  • Employee Personal Protective Equipment: Employees wear a mask and gloves at all times. Employees will continue to be required to hand wash after EVERY patient encounter.
  • Increased Cleaning Frequency:Our office has reinforced its already strict adherence to hygiene protocols – including more frequent cleaning of the waiting room, front desk, bathrooms, and non-patient care areas throughout the day.
  • Social Distancing: We have reduced the number of chairs in the waiting room, and the distance between each chair has been increased. Once you have been checked in, we will immediately bring you into one of our exam rooms. Please limit who accompanies you to 1 person. It is preferable if that person waits for you in their vehicle. If the person does accompany you to your visit, they will be brought into your exam room with you.
  • Enhanced Patient Screening: Prior to your appointment, a care team member will contact you to go through our comprehensive screening process.

Some of the common symptoms related to COVID-19 include cough, sore throat, fever and difficulty breathing. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, you should re-schedule your appointment, particularly if your appointment is of a non-urgent matter. More importantly, we suggest you pay close attention to your symptoms, and seek medical help to determine the cause of the symptoms and the appropriate treatment.

If you have traveled to an area of the world considered a “high risk” area or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, you should also re-schedule your appointment.

If some of these issues apply to you, but you have an urgent condition, please contact us directly for further guidance.

The Pain Experts of Arizona is committed to the health and safety of our patients and the community as a whole. The Coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented and we are all learning how to manage this situation on a day to day basis.
